The 6^th International Conference on Risk Assessment of Pharmaceuticals in the Environment (ICRAPHE) will be held in Aveiro, Portugal, from October 20 – 21, 2025.

This event brings together researchers of different nationalities and recognized experts in different areas covering a wide range of topics related to pharmaceuticals in the environment, including:

• Novel detection and quantification strategies;

• Remediation methodologies (including but not restricted to adsorption, advanced oxidation processes, bioremediation,…);

• Ecological and Health Effects, Hazards and Risks;

• Environmental fate and interaction with other pollutants, namely microplastics;

6^th ICRPAHE will provide an excellent opportunity for sharing ideas and establishing new collaborations. This conference aims to capture outstanding examples of active research in this field and to draw attention to future research needs.
